Meeting Rooms
The AAATE 2025 sessions will take place at the premises of the European University Cyprus in different lecture rooms, with a capacity of 50-150 persons, some with chairs and/or tables and some amphitheatrical.
In addition to the session rooms, attendees will be offered the possibility to access a free room during the pre-conference time (September 8 & 9) as well as during the conference if necessary for networking and other meetings. This applies to:
- project meeting or internal meetings of associations or organisations working in the field of Assistive Technologies
- meetings including at least 5 participants registered to the conference
The rooms available for meetings fit 25 persons and some 40 persons. They are equipped with tables and chairs that can be disposed according to the meeting organisers needs, but they must be set back in the initial configuration at the end of the day. The regulations of the building do not allow eating or drinking inside the rooms. The participant can use the Foyer at the ground floor as well as the corridors and wider spaces outside the rooms on the first floor for social moments.
This offer is proposed in the limit of available rooms, and subject to acceptance by the AAATE organisation committee, which will examine requests on priority of date of reception of demand. Up to 5 rooms can be allocated. More rooms may be available, depending on specifications.

Technical Information
Plugs and Power Information
The standard voltage and frequency used in Cyprus is 240 V and 50 Hz.
Travelers from countries with a standard voltage between 220 V and 240 V, such as in Australia, the UK, countries in Europe, Africa, and most parts of Asia, can use appliances in Cyprus without a voltage converter.
Travelers from countries with a standard voltage between 100 V and 127 V, such as in Canada, the US, and countries in South America, require a voltage converter to use appliances in Cyprus.
Power ports in Cyprus Type G. Please make sure you have an adapter.
Conference Rooms Facilities
In each conference session room and meeting room there is a docking station with:
- USB cable connection to the docking station
- HDMI cable connection to the projector
- AUX connection to the sound console/speakers
- Ethernet cable
- USB Camera, that is fixed on the ceiling of each room
Laptop computers will be connected and available in each room for the sessions.
Presenters should bring their presentation on a USB stick, or have it available online to download on the computers in the room.
In case presenters absolutely need to use their own computers they need to:
- Make sure that their computers have USB Ports, or they have an adaptor to be able to connect their computer to the USB Cable of the docking station.
