The conference venue, European University Cyprus is located in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. Here are some important information for getting to Cyprus and reaching Nicosia and the European University Cyprus
By Air to Cyprus
To reach Cyprus, international travelers should fly into one of the two main airports in the southern part of the island: Larnaca International Airport (LCA) or Paphos International Airport (PFO).
The closest airport to Nicosia is Larnaca International Airport which is 40 minutes drive away. There are International Flights to Paphos International Airport too, but please be aware that this is around 1h 40min drive from Nicosia. Please also note that there are low budget European flights to both airports.

Any entry into the territory of the Republic of Cyprus via any other port or airport is illegal, and travellers doing so may face legal consequences. Therefore you are urged to travel via the recognised ports of entry. These are: Larnaka and Pafos International Airports / seaports of Lemesos (Limassol), Larnaka (Larnaca), Pafos (Paphos) and Latsi.
Reaching Nicosia
From Larnaca International Airport, Nicosia is approximately a 40-minute drive, and from Paphos International Airport, it takes about 90 minutes
You can reach Nicosia by renting a car, taking a taxi, or using the intercity bus services, which offer a cost-effective and convenient option. For travelling from and to the airports, you may find more information on the airports’ websites as follows:

Transportation within the city of Nicosia (and beyond)
Taxi
Cabs in Cyprus are usually luxury cars and they are mostly booked by phone or found in special parking lots. There are several companies which operate cab services in Nicosia and EUC has collaboration with some of those companies that can more easily serve delegates. There are also accessible caps available, especially if companies are informed in advance.
By bus
Public transportation in Nicosia is conducted by the Cyprus Public Transport.
There are lines connecting the city centre with the university and there is a bus stop just outside the EUC main buildings.
Most buses are accessible for wheelchair users.

Recently Nicosia has been equipped with a bike and scooters’ (supported by Bolt) rental system.
